About Our Team...
Tricia Countie, Owner, ACE Gold Certified Advanced Health & Fitness Specialist, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Coach, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Yoga Alliance RYT-200 (YogaFit trained), a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists
While Tricia's passion for wellness has seemingly always been a part of her life (including an 8th grade science fair project on the effects of over-the-counter diet pills on fruit flies...first place!), her early professional years were in the corporate realm in sales and marketing. "Training" family members and friends in the gym was a natural way to share the love she had for resistance training (just ask Kerry about their first gym date!) She discovered Women's Bodybuilding in the early 80's and was a huge fan of the physiques of Lisa Lyon, Rachel McLish, Gladys Portugues, Cory Everson and others. Although she toyed with the idea of competing through the years, it took her almost 23 years to step on a stage!
Leaving the corporate world after the birth of her son, she spent the next 10-years as a stay-at-home mom to three children and honing her interest in nutrition and health. It was during this time that she discovered additional wellness activities such as pilates, yoga...and, with her husbands nudging, started running. All of this served to make her realize how much she wanted to make fitness and health more than just a personal interest and share her passion professionally. She obtained her personal training certification (ACE CPT) through the American Council on Exercise (NCCA accredited), followed that with the ACE certifications for Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach (ACE LWMC) and the ACE Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist (ACE AH&FS), formerly the Clinical Exercise Specialist and for which she is Gold Certified. The ACE AH&FS is an advanced certification that is meant to help bridge the gap between the healthcare community and the patient that it treats and releases, thereby helping clients improve their fitness levels to decrease risk factors and regain strength, endurance, and functional movement before, during, and following rehabilitation for diseases, disorders, and ailments. Her most recent ACE certification is the ACE Group Fitness Instructor (ACE GFI) as a general adjunct to her YogaFit yoga training. She completed her Yoga Alliance RYT-200 in August of 2010 and has followed it up by starting her journey into Yoga Therapy.
Tricia has also earned incredible experience in dealing with food allergies, sensitivities and intolerances, diabetes, epilepsy, ADHD, PCOS, thyroid issues, joint replacement, osteoporosis, COPD/asthma, arthritis, MS and many other issues through her own journey, her sons and those of many of her clients. These experiences have served to inform her and enrich her knowledge and her life...
Her professional continuing education courses have included Diane Cotting's Cancer Conscious program (with emphasis on post-breast cancer treatment fitness), Nutrition Management, AFS-Chiropractic Care, Yogalates, Assisted Stretch, Fitness & Menopause, Kits & Fitness, Pregnancy, Pilates, Exercise Rx for Psychological Health, Basic Training for Running, TRX Training, Yoga for Seniors and Pre & Post-natal and Yoga Therapy. Her more recent personal fitness activities have included local road and trail races (a family affair), biking and skiing, as well as entering into physique competition. Her first competition was in 2007, where she started her journey in the Figure category in an NPC natural show (3rd place in both Masters and Open) and proceeded to do an INBF show just weeks later where she placed 2nd in both categories. Her love of the INBF's philosophy of natural competition kept her competing there and she was thrilled when in 2010, she earned her Pro Card in both BodyBuilding and Fit Body (first time out in body building after some prodding!) Her continuing aspirations are a century bike race, tri-fitness competition and an adventure and/or triathalon...Mudder, anyone? Tricia is the proud mother of one son, two daughters and a step-daughter.

Eddie O'Grady, ACE Certified Personal Trainer
Eddie's interest in fitness began at a very young age. During his early high school years he began religiously working out to improve his performance in his sport of choice, baseball. However he soon discovered he preferred his time training over actually playing. To compliment his training he decided to take part in one of the most physically demanding sports of all time, boxing. His interest in boxing soon blossomed into a passion to train for and compete in many different fighting sports, including K1 Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazillian Jiu-jitsu and MMA. Eddie's enthusiasm for general fitness continues and he has obtained his ACE certificate for Personal Training and will be graduating with an A.S. in Exercise Science in the Spring of 2012. Eddie O'Grady loves working with all types of clientele, from the competitive athlete to those looking to lose weight and become healthy and fit and he will work with you and your needs to see that you reach your personal goals!
